New to meditation?
- Welcome!
- Meditation, at its core, is about slowing down and tuning into yourself
- By sitting still and focusing on something like our breath, we can begin to de-stress and learn more about how we feel, act, and react. We get to know ourselves better!
Have some experience?
- I don’t teach one particular style or lineage of meditation, but it’s most heavily influenced by the vipassana school. I also take influence from yoga and zen teachings.
What do I need?
- Not much! Just yourself and some comfortable clothes that you can sit still in for 10-20 minutes. If you think you might get cold, please bring a sweater or a blanket.
- We’ll be sitting on chairs during the meditation. If you have a cushion or bench you already use, feel free to bring it.

- Stretch/debrief
